The moment you drop to one knee only happens once. George partners with you before the day to meticulously plan the shoot — location scouting, annotated maps, a 30-minute Zoom strategy call — so that when the moment arrives, all you have to think about is the question. Discreet, experienced, and always with a Plan B ready, George has navigated nor’easters, last-minute location changes, and more than a few nerves on the morning of. Nothing that happens on the day will catch him off guard.

Following the proposal, a mini engagement session captures the ring, the joy, and everything that comes after the “Yes!”

A little background on our story – I was planning a surprise proposal to my now fiancée in Newport and came across George’s work. It immediately stood out from the other galleries I had browsed, and I was blown away not only by the quality of the photographs themselves, but the thoughtfulness and thoroughness that was evident in every shoot. I sent over a request and heard back almost immediately to confirm his availability, along with a plethora of other helpful blog posts and resources to help make the moment as special as possible.

We were coming from out of state and had never been to Newport before – so being an expert on the area, George was quick to gave me a detailed run down of the ideal locations, pros and cons of each, and how to tailor our experience to achieve exactly what we were going for. It was also clear in speaking to him how passionate he was about the art of photography, and how eager he was to make this moment as special as possible for us.

When the big day arrived everything went off without a hitch (other than me missing my mark by about 30 feet out of nervousness…) – George was hidden in plain sight pretending to be a nature photographer nearby us and when I got down to one knee, he turned the camera around to us and captured the moment perfectly.

Afterward we held a mini photoshoot on the nearby grounds while we were still buzzing with excitement to capture that energy and relive the moment forever. He was able to send over 4 of our favorite photos within a few hours, and provided the remaining gallery the following day. Everything came out BEAUTIFUL.

We have not stopped getting messages from friends and family complimenting how incredible the pictures are, and cannot stop flipping through them ourselves with a smile.
