Castle Hill Proposal: Tim & Olivia’s Unforgettable Sunset Surprise in Newport, RI

How Careful Planning Made This Castle Hill Proposal a Complete Surprise

Tim and Olivia drove from New Jersey to Newport in a red Corvette, which is quite an entrance for a Castle Hill proposal. 🚗❤️

Tim and I met on Zoom weeks ahead to plan every detail of his proposal at the Castle Hill Inn lighthouse. He still wanted to be certain, so after checking in at the Inn, he slipped out for a “walk” to scout the spot himself.

His preparation paid off. At 5:20 pm, out on the rocks by the lighthouse, Tim got down on one knee, and Olivia was completely surprised. It was a very windy evening, but neither of them seemed to notice. As we finished the post-proposal photoshoot, we got a beautiful Newport sunset, which you can see in the photos below. 🌅
