For Joe’s senior shot, he wanted to be photographed against graffiti to highlight his new tattoo. So, his mother and I discussed the location, and we decided on Sprague Bridge in Narragansett. When we arrived for the shoot, we discovered that the town, the previous night, had painted over the graffiti on the walls under the bridge. Not to be deterred, I took the shot and would add graffiti in post-processing.
The challenge was finding an image with the correct size and perspective. I settled on a stock photograph of Venice Beach.
I put the two together, balanced out the color temperature and hey presto, Joe got his senior shot.
