Beavertail State Park is a great place for a surprise proposal for a number of reasons:
- It’s a beautiful location. The park is located on a peninsula in Narragansett Bay, with stunning views of the water and the surrounding coastline. There’s also a lighthouse on the property, which adds to the romantic atmosphere.
- It’s a relatively private location. The park is not as crowded as some of the other tourist destinations in Rhode Island, so you’re more likely to have some privacy for your proposal.
- It’s easy to get to. The park is located just a short drive from Newport, so it’s easy to get to as part of a day trip. There’s also plenty of parking available, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot.
- It’s a meaningful location. If your partner has any connection to Rhode Island, Beavertail State Park could be a special place to propose. The park has a long history, dating back to the 1600s. It was also the site of a number of important events during the American Revolution.
No matter how you choose to propose at Beavertail State Park, it’s sure to be a memorable occasion.
