Goat Island Light, also known as the Newport Harbor Light or Green Light, is a lighthouse located on the northern tip of Goat Island in Newport, Rhode Island. It was built in 1842 and is one of the oldest lighthouses in the state. The lighthouse is active and is operated by the United States Coast Guard.
The lighthouse is a 35-foot (11 m) granite tower with a white lantern. It is located on a small island that is connected to Goat Island by a causeway. The lighthouse is open to the public for tours during the summer months.
