While getting ready for a wedding today – weddings are not events that I photograph too often! – I realized just how many moving parts there are.

Camera bodies

  • EOS 1D MK IV set to write to both cards simultaneously
  • EOS 7D

Lenses

  • L Series EF 24-70mm f/2.8
  • L Series EF 24-70mm f/2.8
  • Sigma 10 to 20mm (for one particular shot)
  • 50mm /f1.4 (for detail work)

Strobes

  • 2 x 580EXIIs
  • External battery pack

Light Modifiers

  • Umbrella
  • Gary Fong Lightsphere

Shoot plan  – much planning has went into this.

A squillion small things and a cotton chest carrier to carry my cameras. So, the next time that you question why it is expensive to have your wedding photographed…think again! because this does not include post-processing-time, software and wear and tear on my nerves :)  Happy shooting.  #MeetTheKeatons
